Specialist in History of the International Relations of Oceania, His is the author of the book The Spanish Empire in Oceania (Almuzara, 2020 in Spanish) and co-author of Exploring Iberian Counterpoints in the Eighteenth- and Nineteenth-Century Pacific (Routledge, 2024).
