| About |
I have worked in Papua New Guinea since 1985 and have written about a village called Gapun, which is located near the mouth of the Sepik river. I have focused on the villagers' language, Tayap, and in several books described how and why it is vanishing.
I am about to begin a new research project involving Papua New Guineans who are recruited to come to Western Australia to work in the meat processing industry. This project is part of an ERC Advanced Grant about social imperceptibility. |
