Claudia   Ledderucci

Contractual researcher
Culture, Politica e Società
Università degli Studi di Torino (Italy)

About
I hold a PhD in Social and Political Changes jointly awarded by the University of Florence and the University of Turin. My scholarship focuses on the militarization process and military functions in French Polynesia (before and after the nuclear testing and contemporary military presence). I am also interested in new forms of sovereignty in non-self-governing islands and territories.

I earned a Master's degree in cultural anthropology from Sapienza University of Rome in 2018. My dissertation examined the social construction of climate change and Indigenous narratives in the Pacific islands.
