About
I am an educator and development practitioner with over 15 years of experience in teaching, research, and community engagement. I most recently served as a lecturer in Communication and Development Studies at the Papua New Guinea University of Technology. I am currently resuming my Ph.D. at James Cook University, which had been temporarily shelved. My research focuses on the impact of young women’s and youth’s formal education on community development and social change in Papua New Guinea. I am passionate about addressing spatial inequality, promoting Education for Sustainable Development (ESD),youth empowerment and contributing to rural development through mentorship, curriculum development,social impact assessments and community-based initiatives.
